Romantic Hotels With Private Hot Tub in Santorini, Greece
Santorini is built for couples. The caldera views, the white-washed villages, the sunsets from Oia — it is one of those places that delivers on its reputation. The best hotels here have taken the private plunge pool or hot tub and made it central to the room design, usually positioned to face the caldera directly. These are the ones worth the splurge.
Romantic Hotels With Private Hot Tub in Santorini
1. Grace Hotel Santorini — Imerovigli
From approximately €600/night
Grace is consistently ranked among the top hotels in Santorini and earns it. Carved into the caldera cliff in Imerovigli — the highest point of the island — the suites here have private infinity plunge pools and heated outdoor jacuzzi tubs facing the volcano and caldera. The spa, the restaurant, and the infinity pool are all exceptional. This is the full Santorini experience done properly.
Why couples love it: The caldera views from your private tub at sunset are genuinely hard to describe. Imerovigli is quieter than Oia and the views are arguably better.
Best for: Honeymoon, milestone anniversary, no-compromise splurge

2. Canaves Oia Suites & Spa — Oia
From approximately €800/night
Canaves Oia is the benchmark luxury property in Oia. The suites and villas have private heated plunge pools and hot tubs with direct caldera views. The design is the refined version of Cycladic minimalism — whitewashed curves, blue domes, no clutter. The spa is excellent and the breakfast, served on your private terrace, is memorable.
Why couples love it: Waking up to caldera views from your private terrace, eating breakfast there, then sliding into your private tub. The Oia sunset from here is as good as it gets.

3. Andronis Luxury Suites — Oia

Andronis is carved into the caldera cliff in Oia with suites that have private heated plunge pools or hot tubs and some of the most dramatic caldera views on the island. The cliff-side infinity pool and the Lycabettus restaurant are both excellent. Well-run, attentive service without being intrusive.
Why couples love it: The combination of cliff-side location, private tub, and the Oia sunset makes this one of the most photographed (and genuinely enjoyable) hotel experiences in Greece.
Best for: Romantic honeymoon, anniversary, caldera view seekers

4. Mystique, a Luxury Collection Hotel — Oia
From approximately €700/night
Mystique sits at the edge of the Oia cliff with suites and villas that have private infinity pools and jacuzzi tubs overlooking the caldera. The design is dramatic — dark volcanic stone against the whitewashed walls creates something unusual in a town where everything tends to look the same. Thiea restaurant has some of the best food on the island.
Why couples love it: The darker, more dramatic aesthetic sets it apart. If you want something more moody and design-forward than the typical Santorini white-and-blue, this is the choice.
Best for: Design-conscious couples, luxury honeymoon

5. Katikies Garden Santorini — Oia
From approximately €350/night
The garden property of the well-regarded Katikies group, positioned slightly below the main caldera cliff line in Oia with suites that have private heated pools and hot tubs. More affordable than the cliff-edge properties without sacrificing much — the views are still exceptional and the pools are private.
Why couples love it: One of the better value private-tub options in Oia. Still beautiful, still private, still Santorini — at a price that leaves money for the trip itself.
Best for: Couples wanting Oia quality without top-tier prices

Most Luxurious Option
Grace Hotel or Canaves Oia — both are at the top. Grace has a slight edge on spa and restaurant quality; Canaves on suite design and service.
Best Budget Romantic Stay
Katikies Garden. Private heated pool, Oia location, significantly cheaper than the cliff-edge properties.
Practical Notes
- Best time to visit. May–June and September–October. July and August are extremely crowded and expensive. The island is much more pleasant with fewer people.
- Oia vs Imerovigli vs Fira. Oia has the famous sunset and the most hotels with caldera views. Imerovigli is quieter and higher up — views are arguably better. Fira is more commercial but has more restaurants and nightlife.
- Book far ahead. The best caldera-view suites with private pools book out 3–6 months ahead for peak season. For a honeymoon, book as soon as dates are confirmed.
- Getting around. The island is small — ATVs and cars are the best way to explore. Many hotels offer airport and port transfers.
